The renewal dates for Albertville High School reserved football seating for the 2009 season have been set.

Current ticket holders can begin renewing seats on Monday, July 20, and will have until Friday, Aug. 14.

The cost of each ticket is $75.

You may renew your seats in the main office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The office is closed from noon-1 for lunch.

Current ticket holders must renew their seats during the dates given.

All tickets non-renewed will go on sale Monday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Once again, Albertville will offer a reduced basic package.

For $25, a fan can purchase a ticket that is good for admission to all varsity home football games.

Standard admission at the gate is $6.

New head coach Joel Poole’s squad will kick off the season by playing host to Ashville on Aug. 28.

The Aggies beat Ashville 38-14 to open the 2008 season. AHS has won three straight season openers.

Albertville finished 3-7 during the 2008 season.

Albertville’s complete 2009 schedule is:

Aug. 28 — Ashville

Sept. 4 — at Southside

Sept. 11 — Boaz

Sept. 18 — at Etowah

Sept. 25 — at John Carroll

Oct. 2 — Madison County

Oct. 9 — Fort Payne (homecoming)

Oct. 16 — at Scottsboro

Oct. 23 — Arab (senior night)

Oct. 30 — at Guntersville

All games will kick off at 7 p.m.

The opening round of the state playoffs is scheduled for Nov. 6.
