Albertville police looking for missing teen

Published September 19, 2006

Tasha Shelton, 15, daughter of Lisa Coffey of 1519 Rose Road, was reported this weekend as having run away from home.

Coffey reported that Tasha apparently failed to get on the school bus Friday after school and was not at home when Coffey got home from work.

Coffey further told police she has not heard from her daughter since that time and did not know where she might have gone.

No clothing description was given and no photos of the teenager were available from police as of Monday afternoon.

Tasha is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds with hazel eyes, red hair and has a light complexion.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Albertville Police Department detectives at 891-8274 or police dispatch, 24 hours a day, at 878-1212.
