Ovie Lee Blackmon, 74, of Guntersville, died Friday, June 15, 2007.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea.

Graveside services were Tuesday, June 19, at 2 p.m. at Rice Cemetery in Arab with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating and Albertville Funeral Home Inc. directing.

Survivors include sons Rickey (Kathy) Blackmon and Billy (Adrienne) Blackmon, both of Albertville; special friend Margie Isbell, of Boaz; three grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
