Suspect arrested at Asbury School

In a press release Monday, Sheriff Mac Holcomb provided information regarding the arrest of Artemio Pasqual Jiminez, 24, at a residence on Brooks Drive in Boaz.

According to the release, Asbury School Resource Officer Jason Austin arrested Jiminez on Feb. 3, after Jiminez was allegedly found kissing a 13-year-old female student on the school grounds.

Jiminez, an illegal alien, is charged with giving false information, criminal trespassing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He remained in the Marshall County Detention Facility as of Wednesday on three $1,000 bonds.
