The Albertville varsity boys basketball team remained perfect on the 2019-20 season by beating Alexandria 47-36 Tuesday night at Albertville Gymnasium.

The Aggies (6-0) were up 13-10 after a quarter but fell behind 28-21 at the half. AHS rallied for a 35-32 margin at the third-quarter break.

Trinity Bell powered the Aggies’ effort with a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds. He blocked three shots.

Dane Harding finished with 11 points, five assists, four steals and three rebounds.

Elijah Moss closed with six points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals, and Drake Bearden got six points, two boards and two assists. Chase Kitchens scored six.

Chi Jordan contributed five points and six rebounds.

Albertville’s Class 6A, Area 13 opener at Oxford, which was rescheduled to Thursday night, has been postponed again. The new date is Jan. 27 at Oxford.
