The Fyffe varsity girls basketball team improved to 6-1 by coasting past rival Geraldine 54-20 Tuesday night at Nix Gymnasium.
Fyffe led the Bulldogs 16-7, 38-14 and 48-15 at the rest stops.
Madison Myers collected 10 points, four steals and two assists for the Red Devils. Marie Woodall scored eight, and Gracie Hicks had six points and five steals.
Shelby Trester’s eight points topped Geraldine. Alexis Rowell netted seven.
Fyffe 65, Scottsboro 42: The Red Devils whipped the Class 5A Wildcats on Nov. 27 in the Liberty Bank Thanksgiving Shootout at Geraldine.
Annabelle Taylor’s 19 points led Fyffe. Hicks scored 12 and Maggie Woodall 10.
Susan Moore 58, Fyffe 48: Susan Moore handed the Red Devils their first loss of the season in a Nov. 26 game at Susan Moore.
Taylor tossed in 17 points, and Alexia Barber racked up 11 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. Maggie Woodall had eight points and seven boards.
Morgan Holland and Hallie Holmes both netted 14 for Susan Moore. Madison Lipscomb scored 12.
Fyffe 63, Sylvania 51: Maggie Woodall finished with 20 points and three steals, leading Fyffe past Sylvania in a Nov. 25 game in the Liberty Bank Thanksgiving Shootout.
Barber posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Hicks had eight points, four steals and two assists.
Myers made four steals and two assists, and Marie Woodall collected three steals.
Fyffe enjoyed advantages of 27-14, 45-21 and 51-42 at the breaks.
