Barker’s Bunch camp scheduled for Guntersville

Barker’s Bunch 2011 baseball and softball camp, with Faulkner University’s Brent Barker, will be June 27-29 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Guntersville’s Ogletree Park.

The camp is open to ages 5-15.

Cost is $60 per camper for those who preregister. Walk-up registration will be $65 per player.

The camp will feature drills, training programs and practice routines for self-training.

There will be daily individual evaluations, including video study with each camper.

There will also be daily contests and games, along with daily awards and prizes.

Barker serves as athletic director and head golf coach at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Barker is the school’s former head baseball coach.
