Vance should get your vote for state Chief Justice

Posted: Monday, October 8, 2012 2:48 pm

[If elected as] Alabama’s chief justice, Bob Vance will care more about the Constitution, laws and court system and less about making speeches and bringing attention to himself.

He’ll make us a fair, hard-working chief justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court. He’ll also manage the state’s court system, a big job and a major part of the chief justice’s role here.

While I agree with many of the ideals Judge Bob Vance says in this article it all seems to be typical liberal Democratic BS.

There is only only reason I have voted against Judge Roy Moore and that was because he broke the law and I believe that no one is above the law. I may believe as he does that the Ten Commandments are good laws to adhere to but we have our own laws that we are judged upon "now". And, not even he can go against that. But, still he has my vote !

I haven't had the priviledge of hearing from Mr Vance. What is his stand on the issues facing the courts in Alabama?

I agree with this 100%. Just the other day, Roy Moore was at a tea party rally in Ft. Payne. He did nothing but talk about homosexual marriage. After the event, when the reporters asked him what that had to do with him being chief justice, he said that he just wanted to say what the people wanted to hear. That's absolutely ridiculous and unbecoming of the job that he wants, which ironically, he has already been fired from doing. Bob Vance is a man of integrity and is definitely the right choice for this position.
