John, I know you are hoping for an appointed board, but this kinda' proves that the voters are not yet ready for an election....15% is barely the people who actually work for the system.

Not sure John but I think Revolutionary was referring to the screen name "wareagle04". War Eagle is the battle cry for the Auburn Tiger football team of Auburn, AL. His screen name could be understood as a reference to the Auburn Football team which is currently 1 and 3. I have included a link where you can read more about the "War Eagle" motto, or battle cry, if you will. Glad to help.

With a name like Revolutionary, you sure seem to be following in the footsteps of you real heros, Harvey Updyke and the Bourbon Street Teabagger.
Where in his screen name or his post did he make a reference to his "ball team"?

@wareagle04 - You're really not having a good year are you? Your council pick got beat on top of your ball team competing with Mizzo and Kentucky for worst in the SEC!

But honestly, did you really think Spicer was going to make THAT MUCH of a difference for the city? This council will be a productive one without him I'm sure...

Really Jill Oakley, we are in trouble. Markus Spicer is a buisness man. Jill Oakley does not even have a job. I was so hopefull when Honea was elected mayor now I just don't know
what's going to happen to our city. Maybe Jill won't be able to figure out where the meetings are, thats the only chance we have. And the reporter endorsing her, I know I will new buy another paper from them, what a shame.

Less than a 15% voter turn out in Boaz.
Yea, we need an elected school board so the people can decide.
