Fighting at Boaz Walmart leads to felony

A Boaz man remains behind bars facing several charges in connection to a shoplifting incident that turned violent Sunday.

According to Boaz Police Chief Terry Davis, 30-year-old Rickey Ray Amos, of the 2900 block of Summerville Road, Boaz, was arrested Sunday for third-degree robbery, second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree assault, resisting arrest and attempting to elude police after officers were summoned to the Walmart regarding a shoplifting in progress.

    It's also impressive that the police were able to set up a "stake out" so quickly in the garden center. Those Boaz police are on top of the game my friends. I WOULD NOT attempt to commit a crime in Boaz!

    And he shoplifted a booty. Wow, that has to be felony. I mean is says he left the store with "a shoplifted booty". Whoever's booty it was should press additional charges.

    Wow that is a crazy story. Stealing a pack of underwear? And if you go down to the 9th little paragraph you will read that he struck a girl in the teen! That has to be a felony right there, to hit someone in the teen? That is brutal!
