Geraldine man in jail for drugs

A DeKalb County man is in the DeKalb County Detention Center after Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered him carrying numerous prescription and illicit drugs.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris said Investigators Craig White and Josh York went to a residence on County Road 28 belonging to Tommy George Lowery, 65, on Thursday. The investigators were following leads related to a string of recent burglaries reported in the Geraldine and Oak Hill area.
