Sorry but this doesn't fall into the "accident" category to me. Playing "quick draw" with Real Guns is, for a lack of better a term....Stupid!

You should clean out your own closets before you add to other peoples. I for one know there was no drugs involved. These people need our prayers not condemnation.

No drugs surprisingly. Here is the 411 folks. Someone was playing "quick draw" and shot pat in the stomach. This was a total accident. The person that shot pat didn't know his gun was loaded. The kids bought their guns because of " all this gun regulation talk, scared they ain't gonna be able to get em" so, they bought guns that they didn't need, and treated them like toys.....

RIP Mr. Garrett. I wonder if your friends will reconsider their stand on gun ownership and realize just how dangerous guns can be.

I have known Pat since Boaz High School he was in the band and a great guy . For yall to set here and say drugs just shows how closed minded Boaz is. Just cause we are meth mountain their are still ones who live here not involved in drugs shame on you all. Saying your christian and already trying to pass judgement. RIP Pat and his family and son

Yes, and I would like to retract my last statement. That was a classless thing to post and I apologize to everyone involved. I should think before I post.

If drugs were found, charges probably would have been filed don't you think?
