Deck the Halls: Students at Evans Elementary help decorate the Governor’s Mansion this holiday season

Students from Evans Elementary lent their talents to Alabama’s First Lady, Dianne Bentley, and helped her decorate the Governor’s Mansion in Montgomery for the Christmas season.

“The children loved taking part in this project,” Mary Shurett, the fifth-grade Gifted and Talented Education teacher at Evans Elementary School, said. “We combined technology and visual arts to create our ornaments.”
