Albertville woman attacked by dog

Posted: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 2:09 pm | Updated: 6:57 pm, Tue Oct 15, 2013.

UPDATE: The dog accused of attacking an Albertville woman Tuesday afternoon has been euthanized.

Police officials say the dog continued to act aggressively after it was captured and was put down for safety reasons. Marshall County Animal Control officers were not available Tuesday so Guntersville Animal Control assisted Marshall County Sheriff's Office deputies in capturing the dog.
