Commission accepts 8 community shelter grants

Kilgore settles issue regarding sale of District 3 equipment

GUNTERSVILLE — The Marshall County Commission accepted eight community storm shelter grants and approved an agreement to pave its longest road at a meeting Tuesday.

The four districts in Marshall County will receive about $660,000 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
