Local PDs ready for mandate: State lawmakers place a minimum of 2 school shooting drills a year for local LEOs

In the wake of the killing of a school bus driver in Midland City, the State Board of Education is instructing all schools to conduct drills at least twice annually addressing intruders and active shooters.

In Albertville, police and Special Operations Unit Members train regularly with the schools and Capt. Jason Keeton.
