The 21st century classroom: The world at their fingertips

For some students at Whitesboro Elementary, the world is readily at their fingertips thanks to a pilot program to put Nook color e-readers in Etowah County schools.

The Nook Color is a 7-inch tablet with full color touch-screen input used to view books and other educational programs electronically.
