The Homeless Coalition of Northeast Alabama (HCNEA) will hold its annual meeting Thursday, Sept. 19, at 8:30 a.m. at the Anniston City Meeting Center, located at 1615 Noble Street in Anniston, AL 36201, in Room B.

The annual meeting will provide a Mental Health First Aid Training Course funded by SAMHSA. The course is 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Attendees must complete the full day of training to receive a 3-year certificate. Registration is required. All interested parties should contact Renee’ Baker at 256-549-4536 to register — no later than Friday.

HCNEA is an organization of service providers, organizations and individuals concerned about the plight of homeless persons and those at risk of homelessness in Calhoun, Etowah, DeKalb and Cherokee counties.
