The Mountain Valley Arts Council (MVAC) presents Tequila Falls for the next concert in the 2019 Spring Concert Series on Thursday, May 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The MVAC’s Spring Concert Series takes place in the heart of Guntersville’s “Arts & Entertainment District” at Errol Allan Park.
Tequila Falls is a North Alabama-based band that entertains crowds with a mix of country, classic rock, southern rock, blues and R & B. Band members include: Scott Owens - lead and harmony vocals, bass guitar and rhythm guitar, Steve Owens - harmony vocals, lead guitar, acoustic guitar and mandolin, Shane Bowen – drums, Alan Adkins – lead and harmony vocals, keyboard, saxophone and Shannon Langford – lead and harmony vocals.
The MVAC invites everyone to come see the next show with the Joe Cagle Band “rocking the stage” on May 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and admission is free.
MVAC encourages concert-goers to bring art supply donations with them to the concerts. The donations will be provided to county agencies, such as the Crain Court Youth Center and Child Advocacy Council who work with children. Art supplies needed include scrapbook paper children’s scissors, glue sticks, markers, paint brushes, bottled paints, modeling clay and small canvases. This continues the MVAC’s initiative to help spread the arts amongst the youth of Marshall County.
