The 13th annual Race to Remember 5K, which supports the mission of the Shepherd’s Cove Foundation, is slated for a new date on April 14 with a lower registration fee.

Previously held on the first Saturday in March, organizers hope the new date will bring warmer weather conditions and open the event to more people.

Registration is just $25 before March 15 and $30 from March 16 through race day. The fee includes a long-sleeve, high-performance T-shirt.

The Race to Remember is the largest annual fundraiser for the Shepherd’s Cove. The family-friendly, chip-timed event helps provide comfort care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses, support for their families, and community grief support services through Shepherd’s Cove

Hospice.

Those who donate at least $25 through the month of February will be entered to win a TopGolf weekend package, which includes a $100 TopGolf gift card and a $100 Visa gift card, sponsored by the Allstate Higdon Group
