Decoration Day honors those who have passed away; reconnects family and friends

Bright flowers and decorative ornaments adorn the graves of lost loved ones every spring, highlighting not only the tombstones of those passed away, but the legacies they leave behind as well.

Decoration is a tradition followed by many on Sand Mountain as a way to honor those who have passed away and reconnect with friends and family.
