Church to host annual Thanksgiving meal

Posted: Friday, November 9, 2012 5:09 pm

Area residents don’t have to miss a homemade Thanksgiving meal thanks to Albertville First United Methodist Church, which will offer free meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

For more than a 15 years, the church has hosted a free community-wide Thanksgiving meal. Around 50 area volunteers gather each year to cook, serve and deliver meals to others.
