Bobbie Faye Adams
Bobbie Faye Adams was born in Arab on Sept., 29, 1934. She died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Prosper, Texas, while surrounded by family on Jan. 31 at the age of 85. Bobbie grew up in Albertville and married Billy W. Jones. Not long after the birth of their two children, Robbie and Brad, Billy became terminally ill and lost his life. Bobbie later found love again and married James T. Adams, and they had a daughter, Lania. This close-knit family of five remained in the Albertville area many years before moving to Texas, eventually residing in Prosper, Texas.
Bobbie was a faithful member at Shawnee Trail Church of Christ, in Frisco, Texas, and loved attending the Ladies Bible Class and having lunches with her friends. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, sports, and especially Alabama football. Bobbie loved watching all sports and could be heard yelling at the TV and running plays thru her living room. She loved travelling, barbecue ribs and George Strait, whom she got to see in person at the final show of his farewell tour in 2014 — a highlight in her life that she thoroughly enjoyed. She was an independent, loving, kind and happy lady that loved to give hugs freely. She leaves a hole in the lives of those that knew her and loved her, but heaven is brighter with her there.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Romer and Elzie Williams, by six siblings, Lavon Williams, Lavada Hornsby, Mag Wilson, Virginia Cooley, Dean Breedwell Hyde and Shelbia Yates MacKenzie. She was also preceded in death by two loving husbands, Billy W. Jones, and James T. Adams.
She is survived by three children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, each of which will dearly miss her love and encouragement. Daughter: Robbie Ebensberger, and husband Grady of Van Alstyne, Texas. Granddaughters Kacy, Kara and Grandson Riley. Son, Brad Jones, and wife Susan, of Albertville, Alabama. Grandson Reed, and wife Amber, Great grandsons, Hunter and Easton, Grandson Tyler, and wife Tiffany. Daughter, Lania Land, of Prosper, Texas, Grandson Kellen and his fiancé, Kaylee Grandage. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.
