Richard Kevin Hard, 50, of Albertville passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2019.

His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. High Cemetery at Martling. Rev. Jeff Underwood will be officiating.

Hard is survived by his wife, Kimberlee Hard; son, Thomas Hard (Amy); daughter, Katelyn Hard; two grandchildren; parents: Richard and Anneva Hard; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Richard and Sue Caine; brothers-in-law, Tommy Caine, Mike Caine.

Albertville Memorial Chapel is directing.

Brandy Hammons, 37, of Guntersville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2019.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at Rose Road Church of God in Guntersville. Visitation will be Oct. 3 from 3-5 p.m. at Rose Road Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Kade Patterson of Guntersville; mother, Cherry Gardner of Guntersville; father and stepmother, David and Pam Hammons of Kingston, Georgia; brother, Bradley Hammons, of Guntersville.

Patricia Ann House, 72, of Painter, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019.

Her funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 29, at Geraldine First Baptist Church with Bro. Andy Brown officiating. Burial followed in Geraldine First Baptist Cemetery.

House is survived by her husband, Mickey House of Painter; son, Michael (Julie) House of Selma; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Marty Kelly, Linda Sanders and Brenda Castle.

Michael “Tater” Vest


Michael “Tater” Vest, 51, of Boaz, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.

His funeral service will be today, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m., at Etowah Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home. Rev. Jeff Teele will be officiating.

Vest is survived by his wife, Wendy Vest; daughters, Brittney Gunnells (Kyle) and Ashley Leann Vest (Gage Guthrie); one granddaughter; mother, Willene Vest; brother, Ricky McGahee (Deb).

Etowah Memorial Chapel is directing.
