Mrs. Ruby Jo Watts, 92, of Martling Road, Albertville, formerly of Lineville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at the Albertville Nursing Home.

Services will be held at McRae Chapel today Saturday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. Bro. Paul Murphy will be officiating. Graveside service will follow in the Lineville Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be today from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watts was born in Lineville, Alabama on November 24, 1926 to Alonzo & Lela Dollar Price. “Granny Bo” was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved making quilts, cooking and loved her family dearly. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lineville.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her daughter, Ann W. Stanfield of Albertville; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Deborah Watts of Tennessee; grandchildren, Amy and Vince Glassco, Greg and Aneitra Hinds, Shad and Melissa Watts, Clay and Christi Watts; great-grandchildren, Constance and Ross Bailes, Chelsea and Justin Rush, Colby and (Skylar Holmes) Glassco, Macy Glassco, Taylor Hinds, Trevor Hinds, Garrett Watts, Audrey Watts, Shelby Claire Watts, Frances Rebecca Watts; great great-grandson, Daniel Rush. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. T. Watts; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Watts; grandson, David Jordan; great-grandson, Dustin Jordan.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to the Albertville Nursing Home Gift Shop.

Hubert L. Taylor

Formerly of Boaz

Hubert L. Taylor, 90, of DeMotte, Indiana, formerly of Boaz, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.

Hubert is survived by his loving family: wife, Ivadell; children, Dianne (Herb) Spager-Cory, Karen (Stan) Cales, Ret. Lt. Col. Kevin (Tara) Taylor, Kimberly (Mike) Sokolowski; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Taylor and Gene (Patricia) Taylor.

Interment will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Boaz, at a later date.

Nellie Joyce Williams Baird

Nellie Joyce Williams Baird, 77, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 8 at Kyuka Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed in Smith’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Jeremy Burns and Wayne White officiated.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny Davis (Mike) of Albertville; son, Jason Baird (Laney Jones) of Boaz; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Albertville Funeral Home Downtown assisted the family with arrangements.

Willard Wilson Williams

Albertville

Willard Wilson Williams, 65, of Albertville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.

Funeral services are today, Saturday, Nov. 9 at 12 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Mount High Baptist Church Cemetery. Reggie Burns, Tommy Mashburn and Lynn Darnell will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jones Williams of Albertville; sons, Robert Williams, Mark Williams both of Albertville; sister, Jeanette Taylor (JD) of Albertville; two grandchildren.

Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
