Developing a daily relationship with God ensures that everything we need will show up as by-products of knowing Him. When everything seems to be going wrong in our lives and there is no peace to be found around us, knowing God’s true nature brings us peace and moves us into a position to receive His grace. Breakthrough in our life does not come as a result of simply reading the Word of God; it comes when we act on the Word of God. Meditating on His Word enables us to deal wisely in the trials of the world when no one else knows how. Establishing a relationship with God is the most important thing we could ever do, because it radically impacts the quality and direction of our lives. Knowing God through a personal relationship with Him brings us peace and security.

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:1-3).

God’s peace brings security in the midst of turmoil. We can be at peace, complete, and whole, with nothing missing or broken in our lives.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:1, 14).

Knowing the Word is knowing God, Himself.
