Margaret Elizabeth Hart Dyar, 81, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery at Mt. Hebron. Jason King and Roger Igou will officiate.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Dyar; daughter, Penny Duckett (Mike); sons, Chuck Dyar (Peggy), Chris Dyar (Gwen); sister, Debra Flatt (Rick); brothers, Billy Hart (Nancy), Gary Hart (Betty), Steve Hart (Ramona); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.

Russell John Vandiver


Russell John Vandiver, 68, of Albertville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020.

Cremation services will be provided by Geraldine Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Vandiver of Albertville; son, Russell Vandiver of Albertville; daughter, Sara Vandiver of Boaz; four grandchildren.

Larry Lane Autwell, 73, of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020.

Per his request he will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held today, Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Chris Weaver will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Gibson Autwell; daughters, Elizabeth Inez Duncan, Mary Ellen Brothers (Michael); sons, Larry Wayne Autwell (Judith), Timothy Waynes Autwell (Pamela); sisters, Shirley Ann Cauldwell, Wanda Faye Smith; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Albertville Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

J. A. Cook, Jr., 89, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020.

His funeral service will be 11 a.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 8, at Belchers Gap FCM Church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Rev. Derrick Cook and Rev. Deon Black will officiate the service.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy Ballance (Paul); sons, Chuck and Mark Cook; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Paulette Cook, Lynette Cook, Lisa Cook; son-in-law, Sammie Miller; sister, Deloris Bowling.
