• Please announce that MCPALS, People Against a Littered State, will hold its annual meeting on at Papa Dubi’s, in Guntersville, at 11:30 a.m. for a Dutch-treat meal and meeting starts at noon. There will be an election of officers, directors and discussion of the events planned for the year. Everyone is invited, and volunteers are always needed.

• AARP Chapter 36, Marshall County, will meet at Catfish Cabin in Albertville at 8 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship. A breakfast buffet of bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, fried potatoes, fried sweet potatoes, coffee and juice will be served for $7 per person. All seniors are invited.
