Dear Editor:

I would like to compliment Taylor Beck on his article of Saturday, Jan. 18, regarding Sunday alcohol sales in Boaz. It is refreshing to know that there are people in the news media that are willing to state the Biblical view of alcohol. It seems that money takes precedent over morals in almost everything. I thought Boaz took a step backward when they voted alcohol sales in. People could drive six miles and buy it legally, but the tax money would not be for Boaz. Now the same applies to Sunday sales. Again Taylor I appreciate you for stating both sides of the issue. Galatians 6:7.

True, money shouldn't trump morals. But the scripture you quote, Galatians 6:7, has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
