Linda Gail Walker, 77, of Boaz, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at her home.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 24, at Etowah Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Rev. Ken Cooper will officiate. A eulogy will be given by Donna Walker. Pallbearers will be Anthony Jones, Jeremy Jones, Robert Adams, Brad Sewell, Barney Sewell and David Works. Honorary pallbearer will be Scotty Works.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Walker; daughter, Tina McCright (Russell); son, Jeff Walker (Donna); chosen daughter, Sandra James; grandchildren, Alicia Powell, Keenan Walker (Savannah) and Justin McCright (Jazmen); great-grandchildren, Rocklyn, Jagger, Eli, Millie and Stella; brothers and sisters, Randy Works (Glenda), Gerald Works, Nancy McLeod (Gary), Peggy Jones (Anthony), Stanley Works (Elizabeth), Joyce Smith, and Faynell Sewell (Jerry); a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Pauline Works and brothers.

Lozell Harris, 94, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethsaida Cemetery. Rev. Mike Springfield and Rev. Stanley Naylor will officiate.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Harris (Sheila), Joyce Townsel and Rickey Harris; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 18 great great-grandchildren; brother, R. V. Amos.

Albertville Memorial Chapel is directing.
