SCANT CITY — No. 10 Geraldine improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Class 3A, Region 7 football standings by thrashing Brindlee Mountain 64-6 on Friday night.
The Bulldogs used 14 ball carriers and saw nine players score touchdowns. Geraldine delivered the knockout punch in the first quarter, as it roared to a 35-0 lead.
Troy Willoughby returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown and also caused a fumble for GHS. Kyle Thackerson scored on a 30-yard punt return.
Bulldog quarterback DJ Graham finished 1-of-1 passing, a 14-yard touchdown to Jackson Bearden.

Deza and Fontanella are both exchange students.
Brandon East recovered the fumble caused by Willoughby, and Jose Garcia grabbed an interception and had a sack. Baldwin also recorded a sack.
On Friday night, Geraldine hosts unbeaten New Hope (3-0, 1-0) in a 3A, Region 7 matchup. It’s the first of three straight home games for the Bulldogs.
