Audrey Viola Cornelius Talbot
Audrey Viola Cornelius Talbot died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Mrs. Talbot was a loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Talbot; parents, John and Ida Cornelius; infant brothers, Troy and Roy Cornelius; sisters, Barbara Brown, Ruth Bridges, Evangeline Baker; brothers-in-law, Troy Brown, Raymond Talbot, L.G. Eubanks, Jim Bridges; sons-in-law, James Bullard, Rickey Norris; grandson-in-law, Robert Stephenson.
She is survived by her daughters, Martrellia Bullard (Bill) Williams, Lorette (Clark) Ogle and Kay Norris. She has seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren; sister, Tommie Eubanks; sister-in-law Mary Gene Cornelius; several nieces and nephews.
She lived in Gadsden and Montevallo and currently in Albertville, Alabama. While living in Gadsden, she worshipped at the East Gadsden Church of Christ where she was a long-time member. She worshipped at the Montevallo Church of Christ in Montevallo, and most recently, she was a member at Crestview Church of Christ. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital for seven years. Cooking, sewing, crocheting and knitting were her hobbies. Many of the items she made were given to family and friends.
Pallbearers are Mike Brown, Gary Cornelius, Tony Simmons, Steve Bullard, Nicholas Witty and Jonathan Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Michael Simpson, Dr. Vlad Prielipean, Leon Davis, M.S. Barnes and all members of Montevallo Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 13, at 11 a.m. at Collier Butler Funeral Home with Jerry Manasco officiating. Collier Butler Funeral Home will be directing.

Mrs. June S. Plemons Clifton, 92, of Albertville, (formerly of Trenton, Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Albertville Rehab Select.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home, Inc. directing, rainsvillefuneralhome.com.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, from 12:30 - 2 p.m.
Mrs. Clifton is survived by her daughter, Wanda Cornelius and husband, James, of Albertville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry J. Clifton and daughter Susan Plemons Custalow.
