Mr. Wallace Grady Richey, 76, of Grove Oak, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2019. Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 29, from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Anthony Richey officiated.

Mr. Richey is survived by his wife, Debra Gilliland Richey; daughters, Stephanie Hall, Megan Richey; brother, Morris Richey; grandchildren; Erin Rowell, Sarah Tomlinson, Katelyn Armstrong, Gemma Kane, Fiona Kane; great-grandchildren: Lane, MontiElla, Tesslyn, Bryson, Bryant, Brayden, Karson, Branch, Hagen.

Mr. Richey was preceded in death by his parents, Grady & Estelle Richey; sister: Berthelle Murdock.

Marilyn Bishop, 69, of Boaz passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Kyuka Baptist Church with burial to follow at Kyuka Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Burns, Rev. Bruce Campbell and Herman McMurtrey will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Bishop, Autry Burns, Ronald Bishop, David Campbell, Gary Campbell, Bruce McMurtrey and Randy Stephens.

Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband: Gary Bishop; son, Shane Bishop (Karen); grandchildren, Scotty Bishop, Britney Carter (Adam), Peyton Bishop; great-grandchildren, Jayden Vaughn, Cason Carter; sister, Linda Hayes (Thomas); brothers, Danny Underwood (Rose), Randy Underwood (Patricia). She is preceded in death by her son, Scott Bishop; parents, Ralph and Pauline Underwood.

Rebecca (Spradlin) “Becky” Tungate, 66, of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.

Her funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Elkhorn Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Tungate; children, Rebekah Taylor, Mary Wise (Lucas), Clifford Tungate, all of Campbellsville, Kentucky; siblings, Gail Miller, of Florida, Frances VanTassell, of Texas, Beverly Easlic (Don), of Alabama, and Joseph Spradlin (Elaine), of Alabama; five grandchildren; mother-in-law, Audrey Burress, of Campbellsville, Kentucky.

Dorman “Lavaughn” Baird, 72, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 29 at Adams Brown Service Chapel. Burial followed in Smiths Chapel. Bro. Welton Brooks officiated.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Baird; son, Justin Baird; one grandchild; sister, Syble Scott.
