The Albertville High School (AHS) Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame (HOF) will be inducting four members on Oct. 4. This year’s class includes a nationally known educator, a Christian author, an actor/producer and a WWII POW.

Inductees for the class of 2019 are Dr. Jane Lumpkin Newman, Boyd Bailey, Jeffery Patterson and Ulysis Byron Carr.

A luncheon and ceremony sponsored by the Albertville Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Albertville City Schools Foundation will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 11:30 a.m. in the AHS South Hall.

Friends and family are invited to share this special occasion, so make plans to attend. To make reservations, contact the chamber at 256-878-3821 or email Kathy Gore at kathy@albertvillechamberofcommerce.com.

Inducting Jeffery Patterson is an insult. He owes me a significant amount of money and I’m told he owed money to a lot of mother people. He hasn’t paid his debts and just laughed at you when you tried to collect. He is a con artist of the worst kind. Thanks for being suckered into his web
