While many people are coming to downtown Albertville for the Main Street Music Festival (MSMF), the Farmers Market is moving out.

Since the MSMF would be in downtown Albertville on Thursday, August 1, the city’s Farmers Market would be held at the Albertville High School Aggie Stadium parking lot, which is located on McCord Avenue, across the street from Foodland, according to Robin Lathan, executive assistant to the mayor and communications specialist for the City of Albertville. She said marketgoers could expect the same fruit and vegetables from local growers, and it would be held at the same time as always, 3 - 6 p.m.

The Albertville-Boaz Recycling Center will be make a few changes.

Jeannie Courington, recycling coordinator, said the recycling center would be closed to the public Friday and Saturday for the MSMF.

She said it would open again Sunday for public drop-off.
