A vehicle hit the bridge on Mt. Hebron-Douglas Road, causing it to close Monday afternoon.

According to Marshall County Sheriff Phil Sims, said a vehicle hauling a trailer collided with the bridge railing. The trailer was then left "hanging halfway off the bridge."

No injuries were reported. Sims said the Marshall County Sheriff's Office was first to respond, but Alabama State Troopers were investigating the accident.

The Marshall County Emergency Management Agency announced on Facebook shortly after 4 p.m. that District 3 Commissioner David Kelley said the bridge would be closed.

A nearby resident said one of the guard rails had been knocked off, but Sims was unable to confirm how extensive the damage was.

By using write my book review for me one can share their own experiences if they have any regarding road accidents.
