The Snead State Fall Baseball League is designed to provide area high school baseball players in grades 9-12 an opportunity to stay sharp during the offseason.

It is intended for those who plan to play on their high school’s varsity, junior varsity or freshman baseball squads.

The league consists of approximately six teams with around 12 players. Each team plays eight games. All games are played in late August, September and early October.

Snead State baseball players coach the teams.

Registration is $125 before Aug. 19 and $150 after Aug. 19. This fee provides for jerseys, helmet usage, baseballs, umpires, instruction and use of facilities.

All players must fill out the electronic registration form found at sneadathletics.com/sports/bsb/Fall_Baseball_Registration.

Players must also sign a waiver, submit an up-to-date physical (less than 1 year old) and provide a copy of your insurance card.

Participants in the fall league are invited to take part in a baseball showcase for free. The showcase will be Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at Snead State’s Plunkett Field.
