Martha Nell Reed
Martha Nell Reed, age 81, of Waco, Texas, left this world to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, October 29th, 2018
The family will receive visitors from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday, October 31st at Oak Crest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Waco, Texas.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at Beulah Cemetery, Boaz, Alabama, at 10am. Family and friends are invited to meet at Catfish Cabin following the services to fellowship and memories.
Martha was born February 3rd, 1937 in Boaz, Alabama the daughter of Oscar Lloyd and Nellie Angeline Woods.
On August 5th, 1965 Martha married the love of her life, Goble Reed Jr. They experienced a decorated career in the Army that allowed them to travel around the world. They moved to Waco, Texas and enjoyed the remainder of their 50 years of marriage, although their hearts were still in Alabama. Together they enjoyed traveling, their church, making life-long friendships, and cherishing family.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Goble Reed Jr. and sister Gedelle Cagle.
Martha is survived by her loving and devoted son, Ronnie Wayne Reed and wife Sue of Waco, sisters Peggy Peck and Betty Wilson of Alabama. She is also survived by grandchildren Jarred and Shelby Milam, Justin Milam, Wayne and Sheila Reed, and Blake and Lindsey Reed. Great Grandchildren: Macy Milam, Mia Milam, Madeline Milam, Kieran Reed, Haley Milam, Reva Reed, Sydney Reed, Blayke Reed, and John Reed, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and close friends.

Norman William Spear
Norman William Spear of Albertville, passed away October 28, 2018, at the age of 71. Mr. Spear was born on August 29, 1947. He was a 1965 graduate of Albertville High School and a 1970 graduate of Samford University School of Pharmacy. Mr. Spear owned and operated Albertville Discount Pharmacy for 30 Years. He served on the Marshall County Health Care Authority Board of Directors for 20 years, he also served as a board member for Hospice of Marshall County, now known as Shepherd’s Cove Hospice where he was recognized with the “Heart of Hospice” award. Mr. Spear was recognized with the “Spirit of Albertville” award by the Albertville Chamber of Commerce in 2012. He also served as a preceptor for the Auburn University School of Pharmacy for 20 years.
Mr. Spear was preceded in death by his parents, Truman William Spear and Mary Yarbrough Spear. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sherrie Towers Spear; daughters, Lauren (Craig) Deerman, Claire (Paul) Joiner; grandchildren, Anna Claire Deerman, Charlotte Deerman, Davis Joiner, and Reid Joiner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at 1 pm at Albertville First United Methodist Church with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Albertville First United Methodist Church or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Raymond “Wayne” Gilbreath
Raymond “Wayne” Gilbreath, age 68, of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at his home.
He will have a graveside service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant (Carter) Cemetery. Bob McClendon will officiate. Casket bearers will be Rodney Driskell, Eddie Rhodes, Bobby Peek, Mike Cook, Ross Amos and Brian Brooks.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry Gilbreath, daughters, Chastity (Mark) Jones and Holleigh Gilbreath, grandchildren, Hunter and Lexi Jones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bertha Gilbreath.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family, Dr. Raymond Ufford and Alacare-Rainsville for their support and care during this time.

Mr. Obe A. Williams, 88, of Boaz, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018.
His funeral service was 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Boaz Carr Funeral Home. Burial will be Monday, Nov. 5, at Clay Township Cemetery in Genoa, Ohio.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018 from 11 until 1 at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Dwana Carol (Terry) Everett; son, David (Kathy) Williams; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Patricia) Williams and Austin (Audry) Williams; and sisters, Alice (James) Raughton, Naomi (Gordon) Roughton, Denola Williams and Avie Mae (M. A funeral service was Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at Snead Funeral Home. Interment followed at Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Freeman; his daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Sanford and Taylor Freeman; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Robert Freeman; and sister, Rita (Tony) Holcomb.
