Clare Robb Corley, 92, of Boaz, died on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.

Service were held at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Monday, March 18, at 1 p.m. Bro. Mark Parris officiated. Burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation was on Monday from noon until funeral time at the church.

Mrs. Corley was born in New Jersey on August 12, 1926 to Thomas Ellis & Helen Elizabeth Walash Robb. She was a Register Nurse.

Mrs. Corley is survived by her sons and daughter-in-Law: Luther Franklin Corley III and Haley of Huntsville, and Thomas Robb Corley of Gadsden; grandchildren, Luther Franklin Corley IV and Katie, Evan Carter Corley and Charlotte, as well as Clare Corley Wortman and Grant; and great granddaughter, Louise Stuart Corley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Luther F. Corley, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Charles Brock, Jerry Don Sims, Patrick Phillips, Frank Mastin, and Mike Owen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Owen, Boyd Evans, Jr., Trey Evans and Rob Jacobs.

Family request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 125 College Ave, Boaz, AL 35957.

Sandra “Sandy” Jo Artis, 62, of Albertville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Services were held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 16, at 2 p.m.

Surviving are husband, J.T. Artis; mother, Lois Offet; daughters, Karen Artis and Catherine “Cat” (Corey) Hinkle; sisters, Sue (Bruce) MacKenzie, Ruth Bliss and Julie (Kenny) Bearden; and brother, Joel Offet.

Waltman is survived by her sons, George Billy McClellan, Gary Wayne McClellan and Dennis Ray Spann; daughters, Cynthia Darlene Bridgers and Reba Jewel Stephens; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and brothers, Jerald Wayne Newton, Willie Jay Newton, Gregory Pat Newton and Larry Newton.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue (Benny) Johnsey, Linda (Ray) Beiler, Dot (Jerry) Roberson, Kay (Don) Hennon, Freda (David) Dabbs; son, Truman Hicks; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
