Fred James Taylor, 85, of Blountsville, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.
Bro. Curtis Alexander conducted the funeral service on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 3 p.m. at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
He is survived by his wife, Earlene Taylor; son, Hugh (Heather) Taylor; daughters, Darlene (Harmon) Lisenby and Jane (Lane) Pettit; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and brothers, David (Betty) Taylor and Glen (Janice) Taylor.

Blake Edward Emfinger, 28, of Gadsden, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.
There was a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Etowah Memorial Chapel with visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. before the service.
Survivors include mother, Jennifer F. Gaylor; brothers, David Alan Lafollette, Barry Linton Lafollette, Lamar Emfinger and Robert Stanley Emfinger; and sister, Luanne Pearce.

Christopher “Muffin” Hart
Christopher “Muffin” Hart, 33, of Boaz, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Albertville Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. Bro. Justin Taylor and Bro. Johnny Taylor will be officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Codie Hart; daughters, Caya Willow Gray Hart and Harleigh Collins Ember Hart; parents, Rodney and Mary Hart; grandparents, Donald and Sarah “Jo Jo” Hart; and brothers, Joshua and Taylor Hart.

Frankie Sue Spence, 88, of Geraldine, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. at Geraldine First Baptist Church with burial following in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. before the service. Bro. Charles Jones and Andy Brown officiated.
Survivors include daughter, Karen (Gary) Nelms; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, Brian Smith and Steven (Marylou) Smith; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Patsy (James) Brock; and brother, Charles (Jean) Dalrymaple.
